This weekend was very busy. I drove to our regional Stampin Up event in Telford with a SU colleague. On Friday night we met up with 24 other members of the Stampin Stars. Our leader Natalie O'Shea had made us all a star, so we could recognise each other. What a fab idea! We celebrated another Stars birthday with a lovely evening meal.
Happy Birthday Kim!
The next morning after a lovely breakfast, (always so more relaxed when not in your own home setting) we headed to the venue where the Regional was being held.
There was around 300 odd Stampin Up! demonstrators gathered together, mostly women!
We had a frantic half hour after registration swapping.
I had made 88 swaps as a tag, so after I had swapped I had just about the same number back. I was very impressed with the diversity and complexity of the swaps. People had made a great effort.
Stampin Up! did a great job on the Regional Training. We had some fabulous demonstrations about new product and we were given some exciting news for the UK market, but mums the word, you'll have to wait!
We had a Make and Take which I will show you here.
This is a notebook and the cover is Basic Grey that has been scored to form a grid, then stamped with Clockworks and decorated with a flower using the Fancy Flower Punch and the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons.
The second project was a box made from Two Tags Bigz die and decorated again with Clockworks stamp set and the Fancy Flower punch and small In Colour dahlia button. It holds 5 mini cards and envelopes.
