All the lovely items in this mini catalogue are only available to purchase until the end of the month - we can hope that some will reappear in the Annual Catalogue that will be released in October but there are no guarantees and even us Demo's don't know what will and won't be coming back!

I have been looking at some of the challenges out there in cyberspace and chanced upon the one from Craft Project Central. I need to do a couple of wedding cards, so decided to use the challenge as a way of getting the creative juices flowing! Below is their card challenge for this month. and here is my card. I hope you like the colours I have used, namely Cherry Cobbler, Brushed Gold C/S and Shimmery White C/S

Hello to a Reason to Smile!
and to a more up beat version using Rich Razzleberry and Wild Wasabi

Thursday 16 August 2012

I needed a Birthday card on Monday and decided to make one rather than use one of the many that I have on hand.
With a base of Concord Crush, ( I just love the depth of this purple) and the help of the Hostess DSP Cheerful Treat (only available until 30th September) I used A Reason to Smile large flower with antique brad as the centre. The smaller flowers from the same set adorned with the Beautiful Wings embosslits. Happy Birthday from the Perfect Punches stamp set. This is a CASE from p53 from the Idea Book and Catalogue.

Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #77

I haven't entered any challenges before, so decided to enter this one.
Using Red Riding Hood CS and Whisper White with a touch of Cherry Cobbler for a bit of depth!

Sunday 5 August 2012

The second card is quite elegant and can be used for wedding wishes. The background card is Natural Ivory with Whisper White. I have used the Stripes embossing folder to give depth, the main image 'Fine Flourish' is a single stamp and the ink is Sahara Sand, completing the neutral look. Add some crochet trim and pearls to finish!
I wasn't able to go to training recently so Natalie O'Shea sent me the materials to complete the projects they made. This card has used  Triple Time Stamping. See the technique here

It uses Red Riding Hood CS and Newsprint DSP

A Reason to Smile

Thought I'd share with you some more cards using this gorgeous stamp set.
This square card uses Perfect Plum and Black with Black grossgrain ribbon
Once again I made use of the colourful DSP 'Beyond the Garden', this time punched with the Lace Ribbon Border punch.  'A Reason to Smile' and 'Elegant Thank You' randomly stamped in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight.
