Retiring Products

Over the next couple of weeks I am going to be showcasing some of my favourite Retiring Products.
These will only be available while supplies last, so if you do have a favourite, check out the list on my website.

These are similar, colours used are Midnight Muse (retiring colour) and Smoky Slate.  The stamp set is Clockworks, a really useful set for masculine cards.  The sentiments are from Perfectly Penned and Delightful Dozen.  Do you like how I have changed the basic card colours around?  They give a slightly different effect.  Not sure which I like best, I think the grey card.
Continuing the grey theme, using Gorgeous Grunge and fortunately this is still in the annual catalogue because I love it!  The sentiment is from Perfect Pennants which was in the 2014 Occasional Catalogue but it has gone over  to the new Annual Catalogue. Yippee.  The only retiring product on this card are the silver stars!  Now I could have used the old star punch, but I didn't - I used a new star punch which will be available in a set of 3 Itty Bitty Accents punches on July1st!
It is the Silver Glimmer paper that is retiring, to be replaced by a NEW Glimmer Paper, that matches with the beautiful silver ribbon that was in the last 2 Occasional catalogues.

To get your mitts on any of these products, head over to my store or click on the product below.  For every online order I will send you a handmade card as a special   Thank You from me!  Don't forget to use the Hostess Code!  This months is EJAAN9FQ.

Stampin Up! Regional

This weekend was very busy. I drove to our regional Stampin Up event in Telford with a SU colleague.  On Friday night we met up with 24 other members of the Stampin Stars. Our leader Natalie O'Shea had made us all a star, so we could recognise each other. What a fab idea! We celebrated another Stars birthday with a lovely evening meal.
 Happy Birthday Kim!

The next morning after a lovely breakfast, (always so more relaxed when not in your own home setting) we headed to the venue where the Regional was being held.
There was around 300 odd Stampin Up! demonstrators gathered together, mostly women!
We had a frantic half hour after registration swapping.
I had made 88 swaps as a tag, so after I had swapped I had just about the same number back. I was very impressed with the diversity and complexity of the swaps. People had made a great effort.

Stampin Up! did a great job on the Regional Training. We had some fabulous demonstrations about new product and we were given some exciting news for the UK market, but mums the word, you'll have to wait!
We had a Make and Take which I will show you here.
This is a notebook and the cover is Basic Grey that has been scored to form a grid, then stamped with Clockworks and decorated with a flower using the Fancy Flower Punch and the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons.
The second project was a box made from Two Tags Bigz die and decorated again with Clockworks stamp set and the Fancy Flower punch and small In Colour dahlia button. It holds 5 mini cards and envelopes.
